Why Lai Chi Wo?
Lai Chi Wo is one of the oldest, largest, and best-preserved Hakka walled villages. It is also a scenic area with a diverse ecological environment and rich biodiversity.
Lai Chi Wo is located in the northeast New Territories. The village was built near water sources and forests to utilize the natural resources for the villagers' living.

How to get to Lai Chi Wo?

1) Ma Liu Shui
2) Sam Mun Tsai - Tai Shui Hang/Lai Chi Wo/Kat O/Ap Chau
MTR East Rail->Tai Po Market Station->Exit B->Minibus 20K->Sam Mun Tsai Village
By Hiking (8 km, only for hikers with certain experience)
1) MTR East Rail->Tai Po Market Station->Minibus 20R->Wu Kau Tang
2) MTR East Rail->Tai Po Market Station->KMB 275R (Sundays & Public Holidays only)- >Wu Kau Tang
Follow the trail and hike for about 8 km.

Network connection:
CSL has a better network connection,
while 3HK is the worst (no signal in most areas).
Must-have items:
- Sun cap
- Water (1-2 liters)
- Rain gear
- Plastic bag for littering (bins are not always available in Lai Chi Wo)
- Companion (at least 1)
